You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

2 Peter 1:13

13 Yea [de], I think it [hegeomai] meet [dikaios], as long as [epi] [hosos] I am [eimi] in [en] this [touto] tabernacle [skenoma], to stir [diegeiro] you [humas] up [diegeiro] by [en] putting you in remembrance [hupomnesis]; KJV-Interlinear

13 And I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder, NASB

Your earthly dwelling, is your physical body.Your physical body is the flesh, bone, and blood, etc., that makes up your present carnal existence.

Your physical body is biological in nature, and is separate and apart from your real life your human life, which resides in your soul.

As a believer in Christ you are trichotomous. You consist of three vessels, and three lives, each one housed in one for the three vessels. You are body in which resides biological life, and you are soul in which resides human life, and finally you possess a human spirit in which resides eternal life.

Of these three, only the last two (soul and spirit) combined with their respective lives, are permanent.Your physical body, with its biological life), is temporary and designed for life on this earth only.

At some point in the future, whether tomorrow or decades from now, God will pull you out of your physical body, and whisk you off (soul and spirit), to heaven.

At an appointed time, in our case, that time will be the Rapture, which ends this dispensation, you will be reunited with a permanent body, which we call a resurrection body. It will be neither biological nor temporary, but permanent and indestructible.

With no more aches and pains, no more weaknesses or even ugliness's, you ll look pretty good in your new body.

But for the time being, we all have to live our lives in these physical bodies, together with all of the frailties and defects that they come with.

And while in these bodies, as Peter says here, we need to be reminded over and over again, of the truth of life and of the dangers of our ignoring truth.

Your Bible study is not a one time learning exercise and then you are done, but a daily study and a repetitive reminder of God, of Christ, of doctrine, of your spiritual life, of the expectations from God, and of your responsibilities in life.

In growing up, you will never, in this life, attain complete growth to some predetermined ending point.Growth is ongoing for this life, and I would imagine that in eternity, there will be so much more to learn, that we will never know it all, in any subject you can think of, and in the subjects that no one has ever imagined yet.

Your daily study is intended to help you learn and grow up in life, but most of your studies constitute reminders of what you already know, and serve as reinforcements of your spiritual life.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
