You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Heb. 4:16

16 Let us [proserchomai] therefore [oun] come [proserchomai] boldly [meta] [parrhesia] unto the throne [thronos] of grace [charis], that [hina] we may obtain [lambano] mercy [eleos], and [kai] find [heurisko] grace [charis] to help [boetheia] in [eis] time of need [eukairos]. KJV-Interlinear

16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. NASB

Therefore, the conclusion of this chapter, and remember that the overall topic of the book of Hebrews is 'glories.' Glories is plural because the glories that accrue to the mature individual are many.

You will have blessings in this life, to help you get through this life in the face of all manner of troubles that the world will throw at you. And, in the next life your glories will be immense. Just as the night sky is immense and as far as any of us can tell, the universe goes on forever. That is big.

Therefore again the conclusion. Since God is on our side, since God has a policy that rejects sin and all manner of evil (unlike other religions which use sin in order to entice followers), since God is the only one and true God, since God has the power, the ability, the resolve, the sovereignty over all that exists. Since God has given us a promise which He is able to fulfill.

Then, we should come before the throne of God, with boldness, with confidence, with security, knowing that our life here in this life will be taken care of to the smallest detail and even more, our life in eternity will be more than we could ever imagine.

Life is not intended to be full of troubles and misery and burdens, but life is intended to be fun, adventurous, and satisfying. Life is intended to be happy to the point beyond happiness. Life is intended to be overwhelmingly happy.

Happiness comes from contentment. Contentment comes from fulfillment. Fulfillment comes from a sound and secure and complete life. Bible doctrine provides the foundation for that life. Your daily Bible study provides the means of obtaining that life. Your consistency in study, your application of Gods mandates to your daily life, your residence in fellowship, all provide the necessary spiritual growth which will lead to that life.

Therefore come boldly before the throne of grace. What is that? Approach God through the spiritual growth process which He has designed, and know with confidence that everything He has promised will be yours in eternity.

Approach God with confidence so that you will receive mercy (Gods action toward you personally), so that you will find grace (Gods promises which He will fulfill for you), so that you will get help (Gods lashing down, Gods securing down) all of the loose ends of your life. So that all the wood, hay, and stubble of your life are purged from your life when you maintain your fellowship status. Remember from our study in 1, 2, 3 Jn., that your confession (for fellowship) is a washing, a cleansing of all the filth from your life.

Your living your life in fellowship combined with spiritual growth, gives you divine production (gold, silver, and precious stones). Divine production is intrinsic. It has value which never diminishes, never fades. And, it is on that basis (your spiritual production) that you will receive great reward in eternity. It is also on that basis that your life now in this world will be stabilized.

Your time of need is now, today. Not tomorrow, not after you have accomplished something else in life, not after you have paid off your debts, or graduated from school, or after you have settled in your home or retirement. Not after anything in life, but now, today. Your time of need is now in this life.

None of us knows when God will call us home. Some might depart tonight. Most of us probably will not leave this world for many years, but why gamble on the unknown. If you are given a gold mine with known rich veins of gold, why put off the mining of that wealth?

Get with a daily study and stick with it for the rest of your life. Your life now will be far better, and your next life in eternity will be far greater than anything you could ever imagine.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
