You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Heb. 10:35-36

35 Cast [apoballo] not [me] away [apoballo] therefore [oun] your [humon] confidence [parrhesia], which [hostis] hath [echo] great [megas] recompence of reward [misthapodosia].
36 For [gar] ye have [echo] need [chreia] of patience [hupomone], that [hina], after ye have done [poieo] the will [thelema] of God [theos], ye might receive [komizo] the promise [epaggelia]. KJV-Interlinear

35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. NASB

Confidence and hope are often used interchangeably in the scriptures. We all have tough lives in this world. Even if you were born with a silver spoon and have life relatively easy, sooner or later you will meet the tough times of your life, at your death.

Many folks are not born into the easy life. Most folks have to live the life of poverty, or they have to live the working life of the middle class working stiffs. Some folks have an upper income level of existence, and there are few who possess fabulous wealth in this life.

Regardless of your circumstances in life. Regardless of your life of ease or your life of hardship, there is something better. And that something better, comes only through advancing to spiritual maturity. It won't come through your own wit or ingenuity or hard work from this world.

Of course as you advance toward spiritual maturity then your natural abilities and desires will be spurred on such that you will want to do your best at whatever you do in life. There is nothing wrong with talent or ability so long as they do not become your substitute for your spiritual life.

Your confidence is your hope of a better life. Better than this world can provide. Your confidence is constructed of Gods Word within your soul. As you learn and understand God, and life around you, you begin to realize the truth of life and that there are promises from God, which He is able to keep, which promises are far superior to anything from this world.

Just as Christ and His Priesthood are far superior to the Levitical codes, so too the spiritual life is far superior to the temporal life.

But note. Promises from God go to mature believers. Immature believers have some promises too, but the really big things will go to those who advance to, and maintain their spiritual maturity.

Great reward, means phenomenal rewards, rewards and blessings beyond one imagination. When we all stand before Christ at the Judgment Seat of Christ, we will all be evaluated. That is the time then we will see and receive our rewards. Note quickly too, that many rewards will not come into existence until after human history is completed and the new heavens and earth are created. But suffice to say, whatever those blessings are, when that time comes, they will blow your resurrected mind, away.

So just briefly, we have two encouragement's to keep us on track in our spiritual life. In yesterdays study we saw that the tough times in this life need not be for nothing. Endure them, and all of the hardships will result in your blessing. Don't let your problems defeat you. Don't let people defeat you.

Sure you will be teased or ridiculed by others, but don't let them run your life. Ignore them and stick to your daily study. In the long run they will be the losers and you will be one of heavens hero's.

The second thing that should encourage you is the battery of promises from God for your destiny in heaven. A destiny that far exceeds any human imagination.

You did not have a say in what your circumstances of life, in this life, would be. But you certainly have a say in your eternal life. You can secure wealth beyond imagination by simply studying and growing up spiritually. Your life here in this world might be mud, but that is irrelevant. God has made promises and He is able to keep them.

Folks might look down on you in this life, but then this life is going to be very short. When you come out a winner in heaven, that winning status will last forever.

Look around you in this world, in the news, in politics, in social circles, in business and so forth. The world is full of opinionated people. The wise of the world think highly of themselves and they might even be the successful of the world. You most probably are looked down upon as something of a lessor human being. After all, if your aren't smart, witty, successful, don't travel in the 'right' circles, then, well, just who are you anyway?

Not to worry. Your life is in Gods hands, not peoples. Run your own life and don't let others run your life by their comments. To give over to peoples whims, is to insure failure. To give over to Gods truth, is to insure success.

Endure, and persist to spiritual success. It is the only success that matters. Don't become a martyr. No room for arrogance here. Don't try to impress people. Don't even boast to people, about anything.

All your hardships from life will not be for nothing. All your hopes and dreams in life will one day come true. Most folks have dreams and those dreams are nothing more than elusive wishes. Spiritually mature believers have dreams, dreams formed by Bible doctrine, and they eventually get to live their dreams.

Stick with your daily study, and one day (in heaven), you will have your biggest payday ever. That is guaranteed.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
