Exodus 15:13

Lesson # Exodus 15:13
Study Material - Exodus 15:13

You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Ex. 15:13

13 'In Thy lovingkindness Thou hast led the people whom Thou hast redeemed; In Thy strength Thou hast guided them to Thy holy habitation.

Grace precedes guidance, precedes redemption, precedes Gods work in deliverance, and is acquired by means of a gift from God to us, through faith. What is man that Thou are mindful of him.

Gods policy of grace brings together His unconditional love and faithfulness. God has a plan, and has had a plan for history since eternity past. Each one of us have been included in that plan. We each have a unique plan for our individual lives.

Our entrance into that plan begins with our belief in Jesus Christ. We learn the details of the plan through study of Gods Word. We receive enhancements from that plan through spiritual growth. Faith is the environment in which we operate within that unique plan God has set apart from the world for each of us personally.

In eternity past God existed alone in this universe. He intended to share that universe with someone, but not on the basis of a created beings personal flaws or desires. That sharing must be on the basis of Gods perfect character and essence. Otherwise chaos and tyranny would reign throughout the universe. The angels were created instantly, then the universe instantly, and the angels failed. Then God created mankind beginning with Adam.

Why did God select the form of man for Adam? Perhaps this was the creature which received the greater part of ridicule from Satan in prehistoric times. Remember that we have evidence of dinosaurs here on earth, as well as some human like forms designated Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal. Recent genetic DNA studies indicate that these two classes of creatures were not related to each other, nor are they related to present mankind. Too many differences in the DNA structures to support a relationship. So they did not precede us as our direct ancestors, nor were they the origin of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were created separately after all these prehistoric creatures died off. Again, and this is obviously speculation, but perhaps these human like creatures were the objects of Satan's greatest ridicule, therefore God in His sense of humor created Adam in that pattern (review our study of Genesis in that Adam was created in accordance to a pattern). The humor lies in the elevation of humans to the right hand of the Father, where Satan, as Lucifer, once held a high office in heaven and is now replaced by that which he despised most.

Just a thought. No extra charge for that!!

His strength guides us to the holy habitation. Does that mean that we are guided to live in Israel, in the Middle East? Of course not. Gods habitation is in His word. His Word is designed to be resident inside your soul. You receive that residence of doctrine inside your soul by means of a consistent daily study. You metabolize that spiritual information by being in fellowship and by applying what you know to your daily life. This all creates a cycle effect and results in strengthening your faith, and your soul. This is spiritual muscle in effect.

What you think is what you are. Not what you wear. Not what you eat. Not who you are seen with, and certainly not where you live, etc. Your thinking is the real you, and that is where your residence really is - inside your soul.

At the time of the crossing over of the Red Sea, these principles were clear in the minds of Moses, of Miriam and many of the Israelites, thus they sang the song we are currently studying. Note that many of the phrases have been placed in the past tense. The entering into the promised land has not yet been accomplished. It is a future event. Therefore the holy habitation is not a geographical location, but a spiritual status of their individual and collective souls.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
