Eze. 39:17-20

17 And, thou son [ben] of man ['adam], thus saith ['amar] the Lord ['Adonay] GOD [Yahovih]; Speak ['amar] unto every feathered [kanaph] fowl [tsippowr], and to every beast [chay] of the field [sadeh], Assemble [qabats] yourselves, and come [bow']; gather ['acaph] yourselves on every side [cabiyb] to my sacrifice [zebach] that I do sacrifice [zabach] for you, even a great [gadowl] sacrifice [zebach] upon the mountains [har] of Israel [Yisra'el], that ye may eat ['akal] flesh [basar], and drink [shathah] blood [dam].

18 Ye shall eat ['akal] the flesh [basar] of the mighty [gibbowr], and drink [shathah] the blood [dam] of the princes [nasiy'] of the earth ['erets], of rams ['ayil], of lambs [kar], and of goats [`attuwd], of bullocks [par], all of them fatlings [mariy'] of Bashan [Bashan].

19 And ye shall eat ['akal] fat [cheleb] till ye be full [sob`ah], and drink [shathah] blood [dam] till ye be drunken [shikkarown], of my sacrifice [zebach] which I have sacrificed [zabach] for you.

20 Thus ye shall be filled [saba`] at my table [shulchan] with horses [cuwc] and chariots [rekeb], with mighty men [gibbowr], and with all men ['iysh] of war [milchamah], saith [na'um] the Lord ['Adonay] GOD [Yahovih]. KJV-Interlinear

17 And as for you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD, 'Speak to every kind of bird and to every beast of the field, Assemble and come, gather from every side to My sacrifice which I am going to sacrifice for you, as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh and drink blood. 18 You shall eat the flesh of mighty men, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19 So you will eat fat until you are glutted, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20 And you will be glutted at My table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all the men of war, declares the Lord GOD. NASB

From the Euphrates River, to present day southern Jordan, the battlefield will be filled with the dead of the world. Isaiah makes reference to Bozrah, which was in Moab, or southern Jordan. Jeremiah makes reference to the Euphrates. And Ezekiel makes reference, in our verse, to Bashan, which is the region above the Sea of Galilee. So you can see that the battlefield covers a substantial chunk of real estate.

Isa. 34:6

6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, It is sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom. NASB

Isa. 56:9

9 All you beasts of the field, All you beasts in the forest, Come to eat. NASB

Jer. 46:10

10 For that day belongs to the Lord GOD of hosts, A day of vengeance, so as to avenge Himself on His foes; And the sword will devour and be satiated And drink its fill of their blood; For there will be a slaughter for the Lord GOD of hosts, In the land of the north by the river Euphrates. NASB

From mighty men, to celebrities, to folks that history will never know their names, all will be made equal, and all will become the final big meal for the wild animals of the world.

What is the destiny of liberalism? What is the destiny of the religious followers of the world? What is the destiny of the tyrants, the criminals, the social climbers, the hustlers, the gossips of the world?

They will become food for the birds, food for the scavengers, food for the dogs.

Only truth will survive human history. Unfortunately, most folks accept almost everything as truth in this life. The fundamental principles of Bible doctrine, which separates truth, apart from the lies of the world have been so watered down with human compromises, that few folks can even differentiate between that which is right, and that which is evil.

Concepts today accept all things as relative, concepts that accept all life styles from around the world, concepts that justify anything that seems reasonable and for the public good, all these and more, tend to distort mans thinking into one of acceptance of nearly anything.

Therefore, the laws of divine establishment, which were intended to separate man from the jungle laws, have been diluted and blended into the acceptable norms and standards of society.

We look around today and say, Well, everything seems to be reasonably ok. And yet folks whine over the length of a war against evil. Why is it taking so long? They whine over the activities of North Korea, but they don t want to do anything. They want to talk. They want to open up a dialogue.

When a robber walks into a bank, takes the money, kills someone, runs out and steals a car, goes to a house and takes hostages, then what do we do? Open up a dialogue, talk with him for a few years?

Isn t this what tyrants of the world have done by taking whole countries hostage?

How long has evil been in this world? For thousands of years. When will we rid ourselves of evil, of tyrants, of law-breakers? Well, we won t ever accomplish that. All we can do it try to maintain some semblance of balance, and try to keep the evil to a minimum. Ignoring it, won t solve it. Combating it, won t solve it either, but it will help maintain some control over a cancer that would otherwise spread to the whole world.

Today we have the restraining ministry of the Holy Spirit. That is all that keeps our balance, and our sanity. After the Rapture, that restraint will be removed, and man will have his chance to apply all of his liberal, criminal, and tyrant beliefs. By the way, I am including all of the non-doctrinal conservative beliefs in this, too.

In less than seven years, the world will have the picture of horror that we have been studying these last few days.

Will anyone realize this? Will anyone believe it? Will anyone accept this as mans destiny? Most won t. That is the assurance, that it will occur as God has foretold.

Therefore, as in the Tribulation, the vast majority will suffer horribly, and the very small minority of mature believers will eventually emerge the victors, so it is throughout history. The only true minority in history are those who have forsaken all, to pursue their spiritual lives by legitimate learning methods.

In the Millennium, the lion and the lamb will lie down together. This will not occur until after the final feast of the animal kingdom. This feast will help the Tribulational survivors, clean up a huge mess of dead and rotting corpses.
