You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Eze. 39:29

29 Neither will I hide [cathar] my face [paniym] any more from them: for I have poured out [shaphak] my spirit [ruwach] upon the house [bayith] of Israel [Yisra'el], saith [na'um] the Lord ['Adonay] GOD [Yahovih]. KJV-Interlinear

29 And I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD. NASB

The House of Israel includes all believers in Christ, both Jew and Gentile. By the time the Millennium begins, Christ will pour out His Spirit. This Spirit is the Holy Spirit. And there will be a universal indwelling of the Holy Spirit in believers throughout the Millennium.

This pouring out will be an overflowing, a torrential pouring, due to the intensity of the pouring. A flood if you will.

In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit was never given, to indwell anyone. However, the Holy Spirits powers were given in what we call enduement. And this sharing of powers was given only in specific cases. For example, Samson was given great strength. Certain builders of the Temple were given gifts in order to perform their building tasks to perfection, and so forth. When their task was completed, then they lost their enduing powers.

These powers were temporary and for specific purposes. They were never permanent.

Following the Cross, which occurred at the Feast of Passover, fifty days later was the Feast of Pentecost. There the Holy Spirit was given to indwell all believers. This function was to provide His sustaining and teaching power for believers of our Church Age.

With the completion of the written Bible, then all we have to sustain us through life, in our Church Age, is the written word, and the sustaining ministry of the Holy Spirit.

That is why it is often said that, when you are in fellowship, you have placed control of your soul under the power, or ministry, of the Holy Spirit. Anyone out of fellowship, is said to be under the power of the sin nature. Your life is always under the control of one or the other. There is no third choice.

This indwelling, which we have in our dispensation, was spiritual and never incorporated into the emotional sense apparatus of humanity. In other words, the indwelling of the Holy spirit cannot be felt or sensed in any way.

Those who presume to impress you with their emotional holy roller emotional stuff, are just faking it all.

When you are out of fellowship, then the Holy Spirit is both grieved and quenched. This study is found in Ephesians 4 and Mark 9. Grieving means to cause sorrow or distress. When one in under he influence of the sin nature, then you are in effect distressing, or preventing, the function of the Holy Spirit within your own soul.

To quench means that you spiritual production is shut down. You are allowing the sin nature to produce for you, and that means human good and sins thrive.

Again, all of this is a part of the unseen, unfelt spiritual realm. We know this only because we have been taught.

Now, when the Millennium comes along, this indwelling will be expanded to the emotional level and people will have huge emotional rushes, if you will, from it. Why then would anyone want to get out of fellowship? And the answer to that is simply that they would not. At least initially.

The emotional senses are not the spiritual life. Believing in Christ starts you on the path of your spiritual life, and learning and applying doctrine is the mechanism of your spiritual growth. In the Millennium, those folks will have one added benefit to their spiritual growth, a benefit that we do not have today. And that benefit is the emotional component, which will accompany their fellowship status.

Ezekiel finishes this chapter with the description of the differences between God and Christ.

Gog has generally represented the evil empire to the North. But, we can also use the term, Gog, as the sum total of all opposition to truth.

All of evil humanity is represented by Gog. Truth, is represented by the city of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the City of Peace. Inner peace comes only from advancing in ones spiritual life, to the point of spiritual maturity.

Gog, or millions and millions of evil people, coming from all corners of the planet, will invade Israel and attack Jerusalem. Christ, one person, will defend and destroy all of these evil people.

The object of Gog s attack is the real estate located in Jerusalem. Real estate, or dust, if you will, which in itself, has no value. So Gog, leads a great war, killing millions of people, in order to capture nothing.

That is the picture of your life when you pursue things in this life, and ignore your spiritual life.

The real value in life is in the spiritual realm, not the physical. The physical is here only to support us in this world, so we can grow up spiritually. You need to incorporate your spiritual life into your physical life, and use your physical life to help you grow up spiritually.

To spend your time concentrating on the physical, ignoring the spiritual, is the function of a fool.

The result of Armageddon? Those believers, who survive, will have food and fuel enough to last them for seven years. Their initial work will be to bury those who were trying to take their inheritance by force.

The believers will inherit an entire planet, but more than that, their spiritual lives will be enhanced dramatically, along with their life fonts, their climate, and much, much, more.

Mature believers in Christ have nothing but a phenomenal life to look forward to, while those who ignore Him have very little, if anything, to look forward to in life.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
