Isaiah 33:13

13 Hear [shama`], ye that are far off [rachowq], what I have done [`asah]; and, ye that are near [qarowb], acknowledge [yada`] my might [gabuwrah].   KJV-Interlinear

13 Hear, you who are far off, what I have done; and you who are near, acknowledge my might. ESV

And finally within this verse, God makes it clear through the words of Isaiah, regardless of where you are in life, regardless of where you are in creation, regardless of where you are within or without the spiritual realm, whether near or far from God, you need to listen and learn, and consider the repercussions of your life.

Everyone has access to the teaching of the word of God.

Very few, take the teaching of the word of God, seriously.

Too many pretend to be interested in the Bible, but do not follow up, with an actual study of the word of God.

And thus, sooner or later in their life, God will call them on their lack of dedication, and on their phony interest.

And therefore the warning. And the Bible is filled with warnings. And the Bible is filled with the step-by-step process of listening and learning Bible doctrine, and growing up in one’s spiritual life.

Therefore, when it all comes down to the end of ones life, no one will have an excuse for their failure to advance in their spiritual life, and therefore the ultimate destruction and loss that they will face.

And all of this because of the bad choices they have made day after day throughout their entire life, against their opportunity to advance in their spiritual life.


Study [by instruction],
to show thyself approved [spiritually mature]
unto God,
a workman [student]
that need not be ashamed [ignorant],
rightly dividing [learning, understanding, discerning]
the word of truth [Bible doctrine].

If you can dream and not make dreams your master,
If you can think and not let thoughts narrow your views,
If you can meet triumph with disaster equally,
If you can learn and see your full meaning and purpose in life,
Then you can believe in Christ, learn Bible doctrine, and grow far beyond the potential that God has prepared for you.
