Isa. 63:7

7 I will mention [zakar] the lovingkindnesses [checed] of the LORD [Yahovah], and the praises [tahillah] of the LORD [Yahovah], according to all that the LORD [Yahovah] hath bestowed [gamal] on us, and the great [rab] goodness [tuwb] toward the house [bayith] of Israel [Yisra'el], which he hath bestowed [gamal] on them according to his mercies [racham], and according to the multitude [rob] of his lovingkindnesses [checed]. KJV-Interlinear

7 I shall make mention of the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, the praises of the LORD, According to all that the LORD has granted us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has granted them according to His compassion, And according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. NASB

Those who are ultimately delivered in history s greatest of all deliverances, at the end of the Tribulation, will result in an outpouring of humility and thankfulness.

Here begins the collective attitude of each individual delivered in that future time. Their confession and their prayer of thanks, as they recall the past mercies the Lord has shown to His people, and the memory and their belief in those past mercies, on which they found reassurance, in the certainty of their own deliverance.

The deliverance, which the Lord will accomplish, will be nothing short of a phenomenally fantastic event. We have seen the magnitude of the worldwide death and destruction, and those folks who will witness it all, and will be overwhelmed by it all.

The many plurals uses in this verse, lovingkindnesses, praises, great goodness, multitude, all indicate the inadequacy of the words used to express their gratitude.

What the Lord accomplishes for them, in fact, what the Lord accomplishes for each one of us, goes beyond words that we can express in our gratitude.

Those who are ungrateful will never have the chance to express their thanks. They are too tied up in their life s pattern of selfishness. Only those who advance to spiritual maturity, have the clarity of thought and discernment, and understanding of what life is all about, and are able to comprehend and recognize the great mercies that God gives to each of us.

For example, over in the Middle East, there is a war going on in Southern Lebanon. That Hezbollah group kidnapped a couple of Israeli soldiers and that opened up a very large can of worms. Some see all of this as just another big problem for the world. But remember, Jesus Christ controls history. This is probably a blessing in disguise for the world in general.

An opportunity has opened itself up for a major destruction of a terrorist organization that has committed murder at will, for a very long time. If Israel is successful, if they do not listen to all of the liberal complainers of the world, and if they pursue this opportunity to its end, then terrorism will be set back, for a very long time.

Remember that when the time comes for evil to take charge of the world, then the Rapture will occur and God will withdraw His restraining ministry from the world. Then evil can do whatever it wants. But, if this is not the time in history for that to occur, then evil will be restrained and that includes major destructions of evil from time to time.

Hitler tried to rule the world and he failed. Stalin tried his methods and he failed. Lenon tried his communist philosophy and he failed. The Caesar s failed along with many other world would be world rulers. It is not yet evil s time, so evil will always fail. Evil may rule for a short time, but eventually it gets cleaned out.

It may rise up for a time, but in the long run, evil will be held in check, and that is Gods control over, and His preservation of, the world we live in. Just in the last few years, evil has been hammered hard in Afghanistan, and Iraq. Lots of dead-beat worthless criminal terrorist types have been killed or captured across the world. And now another major opportunity is making itself available for the destruction of evil.

We can sit back and watch things unfold and recognize the blessings that are coming from God, or we can become a part of a confused world, which sympathizes with passivism and does not want to destroy evil but wants to preserve it. If we have a cancer within us, who among us wants to preserve it and even nurture it?

Not so with the last generation of man s ruling history. Those folks will understand in no uncertain terms, that God has delivered them through a very dramatic act of His judgment.

We should all be able to look back at our lives and see that our life really hangs by a mere thread. There will have been many times that our life could have taken a very bad turn for the worst, were it not for the grace of God. Therefore, thanks not complaint, humility not demands, is in order.

From the very beginning our life, when God breathed, neshamah, the spark of life, into our soul, that is the very first blessing that we will receive life itself. Without that, we would not even exist. From that point on as an infant, as a child, as a teenager, as an adult, we depend entirely on Gods blessings.

It is He who provides us with the various things we have in life, from an education, to a career, to customers, to friends, and so forth. God, Christ, provides for everything.

All that we receive, from His lovingkindnesses, praises, great goodness, multitudes and so forth, are far greater than we generally realize. Perhaps a little reflection is in order from time to time. Stop looking at life through your own opinions, but start looking at life through Gods eyes, through His plan, through Gods objectives.

Psa. 102:17-20

17 He has regarded the prayer of the destitute, And has not despised their prayer.

18 This will be written for the generation to come; That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.

19 For He looked down from His holy height; From heaven the LORD gazed upon the earth,

20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; To set free those who were doomed to death; NASB

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
