You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Isa. 64:8

8 But now, O LORD [Yahovah], thou art our father ['ab]; we are the clay [chomer], and thou our potter [yatsar]; and we all are the work [ma`aseh] of thy hand [yad]. KJV-Interlinear

8 But now, O LORD, Thou art our Father, We are the clay, and Thou our potter; And all of us are the work of Thy hand. NASB

Isaiah has made it very clear, that we, in and of ourselves, are nothing. All that we are able to do, amounts to nothing. Left to our own resources, we would accomplish nothing.

Only by the grace of God are we fashioned into something. And, that fashioning is not of our own doing, but of Gods.

God is the potter, the sculpture, the inventor, the designer of all that is. We are but clay. Alone we are no more than a void of material, but with God, and with doctrine, we then can become something phenomenal.

No matter what we are in life, it is not of our doing, but by means of Gods grace.

God has the very best intended for each one of us. We of course seem to do our very best to mess up His plans, by trying to improve on His perfect plans with our more perfect, perfect plans.

Psa. 138:8

8 The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Thy lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Thy hands. NASB

If we were smart, we would place our lives into His capable hands. After all, He did create this universe out of nothing and He holds all of creation together.

What is it that we create, besides trouble, misery, and failure for others and ourselves?

When man screws up, all that God requires is his confession. Father is did this or that. But man, wants a little more than that in order to forgive someone who has messed up.

Who was it recently, some celebrity that was arrested or ticketed on a drunk driving charge, who made some anti-Jewish accusations, and then apologized? And the public calls for even more atonement before the dastardly deed is forgiven. Now who is the transgressor?

This unfortunately is the nature of humanity. To find fault, which by the way, is very easy to do, and then to perpetuate the punishment. To recall the faults of others, and to remind them of their past. Just to get the knife in a little bit deeper, perhaps even with a little twist or two. Gossips are very good at this technique.

But, surprise, surprise. All of the judging and criticism is in reality the critics action in digging their own grave. In condemning, criticizing, judging, maligning others, they insure their own condemnation.

Gods method cleanses humanity of all his sins, initially. We call that salvation. He then provides us with a means of washing off the dust from our daily lives, so we can retain or regain our spiritually clean state. We call that confession.

Confession for any given sin is a one-time affair. Once confessed it is erased permanently. No further penance is required. Mans works are never a part of Gods plan. Only Christ s work is valid and acceptable.

Our lives are intended to be shaped by Gods Word. We are the clay, on which Gods Word works its power.

Man can try to mold his own life, but without truth, that is an impossibility. Man is incapable of shaping his own life let alone his own destiny.

So, God the Father authored the divine plan. God the Son executes that plan. God the Holy Spirit supports that plan. The entire Trinity is on the same page with respect to the divine plan.

Only arrogance will jump out of the perfect plan, and try to invent a new and better plan, and without any knowledge or facts from which to build that better plan.

If you really want to fail for certain in life, then ignore all of this Bible stuff. If you have a better way of doing things in life, if you have better ideas, if you have better goals, if you have better objectives, if you have a better life style, then by all means ignore all of this, and go your own way. Certain failure awaits you.

If you really want to succeed in life and know that life is bigger than you, and that the world is bigger than you, and you have probably messed up your life pretty good thus far, then try becoming the clay. Humble yourself and allow God to mold you into the champion of His design. Something you will never accomplish yourself.

Does this mean that all of your problems will go away? No. This is the devils world.

But, it is far better to have problems that serve as tests for your faith, and thus strengthening your spiritual life, than to have problems which are there for disciplinary purposes.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
