Isa. 65:6

6 Behold, it is written [kathab] before [paniym] me: I will not keep silence [chashah], but will recompense [shalam], even recompense [shalam] into their bosom [cheyq] KJV-Interlinear

6 Behold, it is written before Me, I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will even repay into their bosom NASB

It is written. What is written? In the vast libraries of heaven are written all of the details of history. Both the details of the divine decrees, which decrees include all of the thoughts, actions, and events that will occur in history, as well as the details of history as they occur.

Deut. 32:34

34 'Is it not laid up in store with Me, Sealed up in My treasuries? NASB

Angels can compare the actual with the foretold, and see that there is no difference between the two. We have studied this in the Book of Daniel.

There is nothing in history, which will catch God off guard.

Though God is patient in many things, He will not remain inactive forever, with respect to history for humanity, nor for the history of the individual.

God promises to repay each individual in accordance with his chosen life style. Those who choose to ignore will reap His discipline of judgment. They are recipients of the negative because their decisions in life result in evil activity.

There is no one who is inherently good. Man is inherently evil. Only when Gods Word resides within the soul of the individual, then a person becomes capable of producing good.

Just as the person takes his own thoughts and actions to his inner most feelings, making them the foundation or center of his life, so God will repay in accordance with chosen course of life.

The bosom referred to here is a reference to the place of security, the place where one feels protected, the place of ones inner most affections, the place to where an individual has committed their life, the place of their true beliefs.

Attitude toward God is not haphazard. A person is either overwhelmingly for God and therefore he pursues his spiritual life in accordance with Gods mandates, or a person is against God, and thus ignores God, defies God, hates God, or pretends to be positive toward God.

Vocabulary and appearance do not make a person spiritual. The Praise the Lord, Hallelujah's, and Amen s do not impress God. This is usually the vocabulary of phony Christians. A Christian s responsibility does not include making an impression for other people, by trying to imply that they somehow have an in with God.

Likewise, those folks who bastardize the spiritual life by changing its function to fit their convenience, are not pursuing the legitimate spiritual life.

Yesterday we saw how worship in the gardens verses worship in the Temple was a departure of Gods authorized mandates for worship. Does this mean that we cannot pray or worship in our backyard, or anywhere else other than in a church? No.

The place is not the issue, it is the means, which is the error.

For example, faith in Christ is the only means of salvation. However there are lots of folks who believe that they have to work, do good deeds and such things, before they can be saved. Many religions around the world seek acceptance by God based on their own efforts in pleasing Him. Some religions even reject God and define various levels of human existence, which have to be traveled before one becomes one with the universe.

Likewise, the spiritual life is not what you say or do in life, but what you think. Certainly what you say and do is influenced by what you think, but God demands that your mind be transformed into His pattern of thinking, and not the world s pattern of thinking.

Gods pattern of thinking comes from the daily study of His Word. The world s pattern of thinking comes from the world, of course. Absence of Gods opinions within your soul, means that the worlds thinking will influence your mind by default.

Absence of Gods thought process within your own soul means that you will be open to the thought processes of the world.

Gods Word within your soul, is your only defense against the world. We studied the mechanics of the spiritual life and the process of spiritual growth, in Isaiah 11, quite some time ago.

As for anyone who has become a victim of the world, by means of prejudice, gossip, or some other wrong, they are herein assured that no one will get away with the wrongs they have caused on others. You may suffer, and they may gloat, but their celebration will be short lived. One day they will move on to the next life, as will you, and you will be celebrated in heaven, even rewarded to the maximum, in the presence of their sight.

Do not seek revenge against them. Do not seek retribution. Do not try to get even. Do not feel sorry for yourself. Do not lower your life to their level, lest you become a part of Gods same dealings with them.

Let the evil of the world celebrate now. You as a spiritually mature believer in Christ, will be celebrating for all of eternity.
