Isa. 65:9a

9 And I will bring forth [yatsa'] a seed [zera`] out of Jacob [Ya`aqob], and out of Judah [Yahuwdah] an inheritor [yarash] of my mountains [har]: and mine elect [bachiyr] shall inherit [yarash] it, and my servants [`ebed] shall dwell [shakan] there. KJV-Interlinear

9 And I will bring forth offspring from Jacob, And an heir of My mountains from Judah; Even My chosen ones shall inherit it, And My servants shall dwell there. NASB

The time of the great inheritance will occur at the Second Advent. This is when the nations under the rule of man, after the pattern of Satan, will be destroyed once and for all, by Jesus Christ.

The Bible refers to Gods people in two ways. There are the genetic descendents of Jacob, which we generally refer to as the Israelites. Today they are known as the Jewish people.

And then sometimes the Bible refers to the descendents of Israel, which is a reference to the spiritual descendents of Jacob, who was renamed Israel in his latter life.

But in our verses now, we have a combined reference to both.

The spiritual descendents refer to those folks who have believed in Christ. Believers can be either Jewish or gentile, genetic descendents or not, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

So Gods promise now is that there will be a generation of Jewish people who will be believers in Christ, who will be delivered at the end of the Tribulation.

Why is this important? Because it is Satan s objective to defeat God. If Satan can destroy all Jewish people before the end of the Tribulation, then Satan has won the angelic conflict. Thus Jewish people are his inevitable target, and have been throughout history.

The miracle of all of this is that God has promised not only to deliver believers at the end of human history, but among those believers, will be Jews, who will believe in Christ. Something that the Jewish people in general, will and have rejected throughout nearly their entire history.

So as we look at the several verses we have already studied, we know that God does not look only at the current status of humanity, but He looks at mans entire history, even to the last generation in the distant future.

Since there will be future believers born into the world, is stands to reason that some folks who may not now, and may never believe in Christ, but they will be spared for a portion of their life at least, because they will be a link in the genealogy chain for future believers.

A person has to be alive, at least to some extent, in order to produce the seed, in order to have children.

So now you know, at least one reason, why even bad people are kept alive on this earth. They might well have future children or grand children and so forth, who will be believers in Christ. For that future believer s sake, God will tolerate evil to some extent, but of course God always ends evil sooner or later. Everyone has their chance to be saved. Everyone also has a fixed timeframe to get their life in order.

Even my chosen ones, is a reference to Gods people, believers in Christ. Unbelievers are never among the chosen of God. Even within the Jewish race, only those who believe in Christ are included among Gods chosen.

God has a designated group of people, the Jews, and He has a chosen group, all believers. Jewish believers as well as gentile believers, will be delivered at the end of the Tribulation.

This also teaches us that the Jewish people, no matter how far they stray from God, no matter what atrocities they face throughout history, they will never be totally obliterated from history.

The efforts of the radical Islamists to destroy Israel, will never succeed.

All of the violence that we see in the Middle East today, and have seen throughout history, is nothing more than Satan s unrelenting attempt to destroy the Jews. There will always be violence in the Middle East. There will always be prejudice against the Jews around the world. This battle will never ever reach an end, until the Second Advent.

Those folks who survive the Tribulation, will then inherit all of the lands of the Middle East and beyond. There simply won t be anyone else alive to oppose them. This is one of the phenomenal blessings that the Jewish believers of that future time, will receive.

Those who oppose the Jews, those who oppose God, will try as they may to own and control the world. Their efforts now and in the end, will be total failures.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
