You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Isa. 65:13-15

13 Therefore thus saith ['amar] the Lord ['Adonay] GOD [Yahovih], Behold, my servants [`ebed] shall eat ['akal], but ye shall be hungry [ra`eb]: behold, my servants [`ebed] shall drink [shathah], but ye shall be thirsty [tsame']: behold, my servants [`ebed] shall rejoice [samach], but ye shall be ashamed [buwsh]:

14 Behold, my servants [`ebed] shall sing [ranan] for joy [tuwb] of heart [leb], but ye shall cry [tsa`aq] for sorrow [ka'eb] of heart [leb], and shall howl [yalal] for vexation [sheber] of spirit [ruwach].

15 And ye shall leave [yanach] your name [shem] for a curse [shabuw`ah] unto my chosen [bachiyr]: for the Lord ['Adonay] GOD [Yahovih] shall slay [muwth] thee, and call [qara'] his servants [`ebed] by another ['acher] name [shem]: KJV-Interlinear

13 Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry. Behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty. Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame. 14 Behold, My servants shall shout joyfully with a glad heart, But you shall cry out with a heavy heart, And you shall wail with a broken spirit. 15 And you will leave your name for a curse to My chosen ones, And the Lord GOD will slay you. But My servants will be called by another name. NASB

God presents a series of contrasts between those who are obedient to Him, and those who are not. There are three categories of lives life as an unbeliever, life as a believer, both of these exist in our current life in this world, and the third category is life in eternity.

The life of the believer has three possible categories of spiritual growth. Life as a negative or an indifferent believer, where virtually no spiritual growth exists. The second category is life as a somewhat positive believer where some spiritual growth occurs, and the third category is life as an extremely positive believer who advances to spiritual maturity.

Being an unbeliever is the worst possible position in which anyone can be. Being a mature believer is the best possible position in which anyone can be. Being anywhere in the middle will gain you mixed results, in terms of discipline and blessing, in your life as a believer. Unbelievers have no middle ground.

Contrasts typically compare unbelievers with mature believers. That is the area with the greatest difference. Unbelievers receive virtually nothing from God, except for the common grace that is available to all people on the planet. That is to say, we all have air to breathe, food to eat, establishment principles to offset the jungle laws and so forth, in order to have a decent life, while living in this physical world.

Believers are the recipients of spiritual blessings of which unbelievers do not have access. Believers receive Gods personal intervention in terms of truth, doctrine, and the many opportunities, which His power and foreknowledge provide in our daily lives.

Mature believers enjoy these blessings and more, which blessings are called greater grace in the Book of James, and of which provide them with the ultimate blessings in this life as well as preparing them for the greater blessings of the next life.

The contrasts of eating to the point of ones satisfaction, verses going hungry to the point of starvation, drinking of beverages to the point of ones satisfaction, verses being very thirsty to the point of dehydration, rejoicing in extreme happiness, verses extreme sadness, joy to the point of inner peace, verses great depression, losing your name to insignificance as historical filler, verses having a name of renown in heaven, all these and much, much more are the descriptions of the huge differences between the various categories of life style, which are available to each one of us.

In short, the unbeliever has the lake of fire to look forward to, verses the blessings of heaven for all believers. This difference is virtually infinite between the two.

Likewise, for believers who do not grow up spiritually, verses believers who advance to spiritual maturity, there is likewise an infinite difference in blessings. The mature believer will receive greater blessings than the norm, once they get into heaven. Since eternity lasts a very long time, then these differences become infinite differences.

You are far better off by adapting your life to Gods will, than you are by ignoring it.

God comes to you, He calls to you, and He speaks to you through the Word of God.

Who listens, who learns, who understands, and who accepts into their life, that which God has to offer?

Do you pursue your Bible study everyday, or do your pursue it haphazardly, if at all?

What then do you really expect to get out of life now, or the next life?

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
