You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Job 11:15-16

15 For then shalt thou lift up [nasa'] thy face [paniym] without spot [m'uwm]; yea, thou shalt be stedfast [yatsaq], and shalt not fear [yare']:

16 Because thou shalt forget [shakach] thy misery [`amal], and remember [zakar] it as waters [mayim] that pass away [`abar]: KJV-Interlinear

15 'Then, indeed, you could lift up your face without moral defect, And you would be steadfast and not fear. 16 'For you would forget your trouble, As waters that have passed by, you would remember it. NASB

If, and this is always an 'if,' but, if you redirect your life through the transformation of your mind by learning Bible doctrine, and offer yourself to Gods will through pursuing your spiritual life, and in so doing maintain yourself in fellowship through the function of regular confession, then these next several verses will apply to your life.

When we confess our sins, 1 Jn. 1:9, and that is what Job practiced when he offered the confession sacrifices for himself and his family, then God forgives our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. That is your restoration to fellowship. That is the spiritual environment in which your spiritual life functions.

Your spiritual life does not function when you are out of fellowship. You are out of fellowship when you sin, and refuse or are indifferent to, confession.

When in fellowship, then you are morally without defect, without blemish, without sin in your life. That is the miracle environment, which God has created and designed for your life. You cannot earn nor can you deserve your perfect status, it is merely a gift of God from which we receive by being obedient to His mandate - confess your sins.

You cannot earn this state of perfection. You cannot work for it. God grants it when you comply with His rules. All confession is directed to the Father within the confession prayer.

In fellowship, then you have face to face access with God, spiritually speaking. You are online in effect, with your spiritual life. You are standing spiritually, in front of His throne, in front of His presence. You are resident within His Temple, within His palace, safe in His fortress. All of these indicate Gods protection and blessing for you and your life.

Isa. 32:17

17 And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. NASB

The word for steadfast, 'yatsaq,' stands for the pouring out of a liquid into a mold where it transforms into a solid material within that mold. And that is your life in fellowship. God pours you out into His spiritual mold, and as you grow up spiritually and advance to spiritual maturity, then you keep becoming hardened or strong, within His designed life, in the perfect mold which God designed specifically for you.

This is a process of spiritual growth. As you grow up, you begin to forget those troubles, that before spiritual growth, constantly bothered you. You develop a relaxed mental attitude. Your poise grows within you. Your confidence in life grows. Your maturity grows.

As you grow up, life becomes more and more clear to you. You are better able to discern between the foolishness of the world and truth of life.

And finally Zophar describes the daily life and dealings with problems. They flow past you as water in a river flows past. You begin to not identify individual waters, but they become mingled in with all of the rest of life's waters as they flow past and therefore become less and less significant, and easily forgotten.

The problems of life come and go, and are no more, even in your thoughts. The problems in your life, though they exist, take up less and less of your time. You remember your problems as you would remember water flowing past. You forget them in other words.

You worry less, you fret less, and your anxieties reduce. Life becomes more pleasant primarily because you have greater confidence in God and in the future which He has planned out for you.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
