Job 12:17

17 He leadeth [yalak] counsellors [ya`ats] away spoiled [showlal], and maketh the judges [shaphat] fools [halal]. KJV-Interlinear

In this universe, there are only two opinions. Truth is the opinion of God. Truth leads to freedom and independence from sin and death.

Every other opinion is grouped into the category in opposition to Gods opinion. Rejecting Gods opinion is rejecting truth. Rejecting truth is embracing lies.

Truh is freedom and lies are slavery. Anyone who pursues the lies of this world, are in fact submitting themselves to captivity to their own beliefs.

And that, is what being barefoot means. Those who would be counselors to the world, are made to be captive to their own opinions. Opinions, which are nothing more than lies.

Anyone who pursues lies, is a fool, being hoodwinked, duped, deceived by their own ego or lust driven thoughts.

Counselors include anyone who has an opinion and imposes their opinion in an effort to influence, persuade, contrl,or lead others.

Some will try to persuade with fancy rhetoric. Others will try to persuade or force with intimidation or violence.

In the same fashion, anyone who would be a judge, and that is not limited to a judge in a court of law, or would try to make decisions for others, which might be a spouse over another spouse, or a parent over a family, or a employer over his company, or an organization over its members, or a country's leadership over its citizens. These too, when eliminating Gods Word from their knowledge base, are fools.

Hitler led his country for over a decade before he was eliminated. Sadaam was in power for thirty years before he was destroyed. God often allows the infatuations of evil people to operate freely, before they are destroyed.

But destroyed, they are. None who promote an evil cause, ever survive. None.

Whether they be people of historical renown, or someone like yourself, makes no difference. God does not distinguish between the social status or recognitions of people, of themselves.

Leaders, teachers, celebrities, common folks, all, who glory in their own wisdom, wisdom which excludes Gods wisdom, or even may include compromised and watered down versions of Gods Wisdom, will all fail miserably.

They may be allowed to exercise their ego's for a time. They may be allowed to exercise influence over others as na ve as themselves (fools leading fools), but sooner or later, their house of righteousness or lust, will be destroyed by God.

Being predators over their prey or deceivers over the deceived, whom they would lead astray by their counsel or judgment, they are allowed their infatuation, until their own designs are baffled and utterly destroyed by God.

In every case, whether by social activities, governmental leadership, or celebrity ego, God controls history, and it is Gods designs which will reign supreme, never mans.
