Job 14:5

5 Seeing ['im] his days [yowm] are determined [charats], the number [micpar] of his months [chodesh] are with thee, thou hast appointed [`asah] his bounds [choq] that he cannot pass [`abar]; KJV-Interlinear

5 'Since his days are determined, The number of his months is with Thee, And his limits Thou hast set so that he cannot pass. NASB

In eternity past, God sat down in counsel with himself. The Father, Son, and Spirit, agreed on a plan for all of history. That plan we call the Divine Decrees.

The Divine Decrees set out every detail, no matter how insignificant, no matter how significant for every aspect of history. Included are the details of every thought, every motive, every action of every living creature. Included are the details of every disease, every storm, every natural event of history.

There is nothing too great, nor too small that God could not handle it, or overlook it. His omniscience prevents anything from getting past Him.

The providence of God, within the scope of the divine plan, the divine decrees, ordered each and every human life, its timing in history, its beginning, its circumstances, its interactions, and its ending.

There is nothing about your own personal life that really belongs to you, except your own thoughts, decisions, and actions with respect to your attitude toward God, Christ, and doctrine.

Even your thoughts, decisions and actions are heavily influenced by the environment in which you grow up. Not to say that each and every person doesn't have sufficient knowledge to know the difference between right and wrong, for they do.

Even Isaac Newton made a statement to which he gave credit to God for all of his curiosities and discoveries.

God, knows the times in which we live. He knows the attitudes of the people of any given era. God places leaders and followers appropriate to the successful outcomes of His divine plan.

All aspects of which are designed to give every possible advantage to anyone who is positive toward God, Christ, and truth. Advantages such that they can grow up spiritually to maturity.

Some people take advantage of this opportunity in their life, most do not.

The human life is brief and fragile. God has preset for each one of us, the numbers of our days on this earth. No one ever dies before their time. No one. Not war, not accident, not criminal action, not disease, not genetic defect, nothing which takes away life, ever functions in defiance of Gods will.

In Gods hand alone, is the decision to give life and to take it away.

God has also established the limits within which we will live our lives. He has set your height and weight, your financial profile, your social setting, your geographical setting, people whom you will meet in your life, people and events which will influence your life, God has set everything about you and your life. And, He did it through His three mechanisms of controlling history. All of which are designed to bring you to Christ and your salvation, and doctrine and your spiritual life.

First, God controls history by means of His divine essence. Second God controls history by means of the laws of divine establishment. Third, God controls history by means of the permitted function of human volition.

There is nothing that God does not know about. There is nothing which God cannot handle. There is nothing which man can do, to fool God, and achieve some alternate result.

All of mans intentions, which are not in accordance with Gods plan, will fail.

All of mans intentions which are compatible with Gods plan, will succeed. They are not mans intentions anyway, but the transforming of their minds to that which belongs to God.

Although God has given man a very wide birth with respect to his limitations, and technology discoveries and inventions are just an example of that latitude, still man has definite and set limits beyond which he cannot ever pass. Death is one of those hard limitations which man will never be able to defeat.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
