You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Job 16:22

22 When a few [micpar] years [shaneh] are come ['athah], then I shall go [halak] the way ['orach] whence I shall not return [shuwb]. KJV-Interlinear

22 'For when a few years are past, I shall go the way of no return. NASB

A 'few years' means numbered years. We have already studied that our days are numbered. To each living person, a certain amount of time is allocated to ones life.

When a person believes in Christ, the number of years you have to live, to grow up spiritually, to be utilized by God, and so forth, are also numbered.

When your time is up, it's up. You die and leave this world never to return in the life you have known.

Unbelievers do not return at all. Believers will have some semblance of return at the resurrection and during the Millennium. But no one, born of corruptible flesh will return to corruptible flesh for a second go at a second life from infancy until a second dying experience.

Death is death, gone is gone. There is no reincarnation, no ascension into a light of some type, no becoming one with the force, or the universe, or with nature. The flesh is discarded at death, and the soul and spirit, of the believer, leaves this world and goes to heaven, face to face with the Lord.

In Jobs day, believers went to Paradise. But today, that is no longer true. Paradise is closed and is no longer used. Paradise is one of the four compartments in the underworld called Hades, and was a temporary prison of sorts for Old Testament believers, caught between the promise of salvation and the reality of it.

Once the Cross had occurred and salvation secured, then all residents of Paradise went with Christ out of Paradise, to heaven. Heaven is a much better place because it is eternal. Paradise was only temporary. Only fools like Muslims want to get into Paradise.

Unbelievers go into Torments. Another of the four underworld compartments. There they remain until the end of the Millennium. And from there they will be resurrected to stand before the Great White Throne of Christ, and then into the Lake of Fire. Their future is not good.

Once death occurs, there are no do-over's, no second chances at life, no opportunities to correct ones mistakes of life.

You have only one life to live, one life to be saved and to grow up spiritually. To live your whole life and miss out on all of the many opportunities God gives you, will be your fault, and you will have no excuse.

To believe in Christ gives you infinite blessings above what an unbeliever will have. To advance to spiritual maturity gives you infinite blessings above what a spiritually immature believer will have. You just have to figure out what you want to do with your life. You can pursue your daily study and secure for yourself a fantastic life for all of eternity, or you can ignore all of this Bible stuff, and then kick yourself forever.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
