Job 18:21

21 Surely such are the dwellings [mishkan] of the wicked [`avval], and this is the place [maqowm] of him that knoweth [yada`] not God ['el]. KJV-Interlinear

21 'Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, And this is the place of him who does not know God.' NASB

'Surely' means, 'with a certainty' these things will befall the wicked. There is no other alternative, no other possibility, no method by which the wicked person can alter or overturn this destiny, which Bildad has described in this chapter.

The wicked person is wicked by choice. Ignorance of God, and that means the one true God, is willful ignorance by ones own choice. No one forces the spiritually negative person to be as he is. No set of circumstances in life, makes the spiritually negative person to choose lies over truth.

Throughout history, God has presented numerous examples of circumstances, in which many folks have lived, and have overcome their handicaps through doctrine. And of course, there are many examples of people who have rejected God, to their own detriment.

There are more than sufficient means of learning truth, such that one has no excuse for not learning truth and therefore orienting to life, to God, to people, and to self.

Job has fallen on hard times, and that is for certain. However, the message in this book, is not Jobs suffering, but in his ultimate deliverance. Along the way, we are also given the opportunity to learn many other truths.

The primary principle of life being, that if you do not know God, who is truth, then your life will most certainly be wrapped up in evil. Moreover, without God, or truth, in your life, then you will have no means of escaping from the traps of evil into which you have walked.

The summation of the spiritually negative person's life is desolation or having lived an empty life. The spiritually negative person's life will be nothing more than historical filler, for human history. He is his own trapper, his own executioner, and he drives himself into the alarms and terrors of a life without truth, all by himself.

God is truth. Every other opinion, which departs from God, is a lie. Truth can only be learned through a consistent daily study of it. To ignore ones study is to embrace the lies and therefore the traps of the world.

The principles of truth are steadfast and unchangeable. There is nothing you can imagine, invent, pretend, think, say, or do to change the outcome of your life, if you choose to reject God, Christ, or doctrine.

The Word of God is not a cafeteria menu from which you can select only those truths you agree with and then interweave your own ideas in order to have your 'better' life.

God is smart. You are not. God is life. You are dust. Someday you need to open your eyes and figure it out.
