Job 20:9

9 The eye [`ayin] also which saw [shazaph] him shall see him no more [yacaph]; neither shall his place [maqowm] any more behold [shuwr] him. KJV-Interlinear

9 'The eye which saw him sees him no more, And his place no longer beholds him. NASB

And finally, as the lights go out on the spiritually negative person, the eyes that he gazed from, and the eyes from which he desired gazing at him, cease to see what they are looking for and at.

In negative volition, the person replaces desire for God with desire from people or lusts, or from whatever it is in life that they pursue.

Satan wanted to be like the most high. He was shooting for the stars and more. But mans desires tend to be related to his own pursuits due to lusts, or due to insecurities.

From his own eyes, the spiritually negative person sees what he wants to see. He sees his own success, his own prosperity, his own ability, his own self-gratification, his own self worth as defined by himself, or in contrast, his lack of worth or self-esteem.

From others, he desires their eyes looking at him for approbation, for his own elevation in status in the public eyes, for recognition, for credit, for that pat on the back, for that 'well done,' for something or anything which recognizes his rank or status in this world. And in contrast there are those who desire the opposite, no attention, only their own effort being seen as adequate in ascending them toward some higher plane.

The spiritually negative person views life from the eyes of others, approval of others, recognition from others, dependence by others, or from his own sins.

But these eyes are the eyes of dreams. They have no substance. The have no reference point. His recognition has neither object nor subject. His place or status in life has no position, no accomplishment, nothing of value. And when reality resumes, the dream ceases.

There is but one source from which meaning, purpose, and recognition can come.

There is but one source from which intrinsic value can come.

There is but one source from which we obtain life, fulfillment, and happiness.

And that source is God, Jesus Christ, Bible doctrine, the circle of wisdom, which we should be studying and complying with, everyday of our life.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
