Job 20:21

21 There shall none of his meat ['okel] be left [sariyd]; therefore shall no man look [chuwl] for his goods [tuwb]. KJV-Interlinear

21 'Nothing remains for him to devour, Therefore his prosperity does not endure. NASB

Just as the spiritually negative person is driven by the emotions of his belly, by the lusts of his attitude, even the reasonableness of his invented beliefs, so it is that the things of this world, the meat, the foods of his voracious consumption, will end.

The day of ones death soon overtakes him. And, if onlookers could see beyond the grave, then they would see the individual with none of his wealth, none of his achievements, none of his status, with none of his abilities.

Naked as he came into this world, so too, the spiritually negative person will leave this world without his possessions.

The things of this world are temporary. They are here to serve us while we grow up in our spiritual life. God provided us with phenomenal logistical support to help sustain us through this life.

We call this support, grace.

From the air that we all breathe, to the educations, and friends, and jobs, and opportunities we stumble onto in life, all of these and much more, are there for one purpose only, and that is to get us through this life while we prepare for our next and real and longer life in eternity.

Truth teaches us that this life is not our destiny. The next life is. Truth teaches us that the many preparations, responsibilities and so forth that we experience in this life help teach us of our spiritual obligations.

But unfortunately too many people make this life, the belly or their only objective.

Cain couldn't have things his way, so he murdered. Esau thought more of his hunger, so he traded his future away for a single meal.

And that is exactly what spiritually negative people do with their lives. They don't consider Gods way as an important way. Their emotions, their logic, their reasonableness, their lusts are more real to them than true responsibility.

Negative people disregard responsibility for what they want 'now,' or for what they can have 'now.'

The repercussions of their thoughts and actions don't concern them. And then

Everything for them, everything in their life simply runs out.

Now is the time to post a prayer.
