Job 20:27

27 The heaven [shamayim] shall reveal [galah] his iniquity [`avon]; and the earth ['erets] shall rise up [quwm] against him. KJV-Interlinear

When we say the word 'truth' often enough it seems to lose its meaning. We forget that the opposite of truth is the lie. But people who live within the environment of lies become accustomed to that environment which is in fact evil.

Being accustomed to evil, makes one comfortable within it, and when one becomes comfortable then they believe more in their comfort than they believe in anything else.

God is truth. Truth is revealed to us through the scriptures. The scriptures are not the sum total of truth, because truth is more vast than the universe. But the scriptures are a window which we can look through to help us see truth, and a door through which we can pass in order to live truth.

The opposite of truth is the lie. When you reject truth, then you by default become a participant in the lie. A co-conspirator, if you will.

But the lie is not truth, therefore how can you trust it?

And here is Zophars answer.

Wickedness is the production of evil. Evil being the overall guiding principle or philosophy.

When people reject the scriptures, ignore them, rebel against them, are antagonistic toward the scriptures, or are simply indifferent, then they are embracing the lies of the world. Lies cannot be trusted. Therefore, the world cannot be trusted.

The relationship, that people try to develop with lies, or wickedness, or the world, or whatever you wish to call it, is doomed before it ever begins.

The world, or wickedness, is an unfaithful partner who will cheat you at every opportunity. Often referred to as a prostitute, the world or wickedness, uses every means to entice you, every means to distract you, every means to keep you from the truth. And it uses your own volition, your own attitude, your own beliefs, your own desires, wants, or needs, or insecurities, to accomplish its agenda.

You become its unsuspecting ally. You become your own worst enemy.

Heaven records all truth, all activities, which means that it records all of your thoughts, motives, and actions. By the same token, the world will stand up and testify against you, without batting an eye. The world with which you passionately align yourself, has a knife already prepared for your back, even before your partnership begins.
