You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Job 20:29

29 This is the portion [cheleq] of a wicked [rasha`] man ['adam] from God ['elohiym], and the heritage [nachalah] appointed ['emer] unto him by God ['el]. KJV-Interlinear

29 'This is the wicked man's portion from God, Even the heritage decreed to him by God.' NASB

You have two possible destinies waiting for you in the future. One with varying decrees of success, and one with total and utter failure.

As an unbeliever, the total and utter failure is your only destiny. That is the Lake of Fire. Your attitude toward Christ will determine whether this destiny will apply to you.

As a believer in Christ, your destiny awaits you in heaven, but your blessing package will vary based on your spiritual growth and spiritual production from this life. Your attitude toward doctrine will determine the degree of your success in life as far as God is concerned.

And it is God who makes all final evaluations, not you.

God has foreseen your life and future. He saw this in eternity past. But it is you who will choose your own future.

The term wicked, applies to anyone who fails in their spiritual life. Whether believer of unbeliever, makes no difference. Wickedness applies to anyone who rejects, ignores, pretends, compromises and so forth, God, or Christ, or doctrine, or their spiritual life.

And even though Zophar finishes his attack against Job, with his certain threats of Gods judicial arrangement for the wicked, and even though Zophars attack against Job is in error, and certainly not in the spirit of comfort, these principles do apply to all people who fail in their spiritual lives.

How you fail, is irrelevant. Failure is a fact and by choice. What you think is what you are, and no one can force or enslave your thinking unless you give in to them voluntarily. All thinking is private and hidden from people. You can certainly fool others, but you cannot fool God.

Where positive volition exists, God provides doctrine for growth and victory over the evils of this world, no matter what your circumstances might be.

Where negative volition exists, God does not interfere with your choice of failure. But He does provide and prove your knowledge of what it is that you are doing. No one has any excuses.

Job puts forth an endless array of thoughts and truths, but his friends resist them systematically. Their attitudes remain sealed within their own beliefs, and in them, they refuse to listen or deviate. And such is the case will all who fail in their spiritual lives.

Job is suffering yet he keeps an open mind. His friends are not suffering, and yet their minds are closed despite their academic knowledge of good and evil as they pretend to be zealous for their beliefs, but are in fact inwardly more insulted by Jobs comments and warnings, then they are in the correct application of truth.

Their vanity shows in their own words.

Circumstances, environment, advantages or not, are all irrelevant when it comes to the spiritual life or ones choices against it.

When all is said and done, we can neither earn nor deserve anything from God, but at the end of the day, there will be those who will deserve the destiny, which God has waiting for all who saw no importance for God, or for those who pursued some substitute for God, in their life.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
