Job 21:8-12

8 Their seed [zera`] is established [kuwn] in their sight [paniym] with them, and their offspring [tse'etsa'] before their eyes [`ayin].

9 Their houses [bayith] are safe [shalowm] from fear [pachad], neither is the rod [shebet] of God ['elowahh] upon them.

10 Their bull [showr] gendereth [`abar], and faileth [ga`al] not; their cow [parah] calveth [palat], and casteth not her calf [shakol].

11 They send forth [shalach] their little ones [`aviyl] like a flock [tso'n], and their children [yeled] dance [raqad].

Do bad people live any differently than good people? No.

They all have children in the usual way. No difference, no restrictions, no special circumstances.

When God looks down on this earth, He sees humanity propagating as it was designed to. Whether you are young or old, black or white, believer or unbeliever, all human characteristics are irrelevant. All people have children in the same way.

All people live their lives on a daily basis in the same way, too. They get up in the morning, go to work, and come home at night. They collect a paycheck, or otherwise receive their income in many usual ways. All folks have the same views of life with respect to having an education, having a job, saving for retirement. Some have better views than others, because the world is a complex place filled with pockets of prosperity or poverty. While one person is celebrating, another somewhere else will be crying.

And again, being a good person or a bad person makes no difference. Life does not restrict you from functioning on day to day basis. All people are exposed to the same threats of this world. Whether unemployment, physical ailment, storms or disasters of any type, everyone has an equal exposure.

Even the bad person can earn a living, buy insurance, place locks on his doors, avoid walking in dangerous places and so forth. In this, God does not interfere with his life, but allows life to proceed.

Another example of the normalcy of daily living is given through the normal production of livestock. The bad person can buy low and sell high and make a profit. He can invest in an asset, and if his investment was wise, then he will receive a return on his investment. Cows have offspring for their wicked owners, just as they have offspring for good owners.

Business is business. Have a good product or service, treat your customers well, and your personal life is irrelevant as far as your business's success is concerned.

The family of the wicked have normal lives just as everyone else can have them. Children can sing and dance, and play from day to day. Kids celebrate birthdays, and Christmas. They go to school and participate in school activities. The family of the wicked can get involved in politics, neighborhood activities, social activities, go to shows, go out to dinner, and on and on.

The daily life of the wicked can be just as normal as the daily life of anyone.

Because a person ignores God, Christ, Bible doctrine, and their spiritual life, does not mean that they are somehow restricted from having a normal daily life in this world.

In this world, what a person thinks determines their spiritual status, not what they do in life. Of course what they do is guided by what they think, but many a person can live a life that is intended to fool others. So what you see, may not be the real person inside.

We cannot see inside the soul of anyone and measure the degree of their goodness or lack of it.

Within the framework of this world, people of all walks of life are capable of having a life of health, abundance, exuberance, cheerfulness, prosperity, and so forth.

You cannot look as the circumstances alone, of anyone and definitely say that they are good, or that they are bad.

And so Job rejects the conclusion of his friends when they say that suffering is a direct result of sinfulness, or that prosperity is a direct result of goodness. Not so.

Everyone has the same goals in life, which are happiness and contentment or peace within ones self. It is just the methods of getting there, which are different for everyone.

Working without God, means that you have to deal with this world, its jungle and the many prejudices within it. Anything you achieve will be temporary at its very best. And any semblance of happiness will be a false happiness. You have no guarantees.

This world has seven billion people in it now. How many are millionaires? Less than one one-hundredth of one percent. How many are billionaires? Less than one one-thousandth of one percent. Depending on where you live, the odds of life are against you. You are nothing more than one in several billion nameless faces.

Working with God, from within His plan for your life, means that even though you must live within the environment of this world, you possess a higher law, that of Christ, for your livelihood. Within the spiritual environment your life is in Gods hands, not those of the world, and your happiness will be real and genuine and permanent. Your chances for success by pursuing your spiritual life, is a one-hundred percent chance of success, guaranteed. Odds do not apply, in the spiritual life. And, God knows you personally. God is the very best contact possible.
