Prov. 11:14

Lesson # Prov. 11:14
Study Material - Prov. 11:14

You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Prov. 11:14

14 Where no counsel [tachbulah] is, the people [am] fall [naphal] : but in the multitude [rob] of counsellors [yaats] there is safety [tashuwah] . KJV-Interlinear

Prov. 11:14

14 Where there is no guidance, the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory. NAS

Now we are repeating a little bit, but this is just to give more clarity of Gods wisdom. Actually the Bible repeats a great deal and that is because people just do not listen, or they just do not get the message on the prior go-arounds.

In life there is but two sources of wisdom. God is the source of true wisdom and Satan is the source of false wisdom. Satan's opinions entered into the world as early as the Garden and in his influence throughout the centuries. Now we just call this the opinion of the world. Gods opinions come to us through the scriptures.

Gods wisdom is true, accurate, precise, usable, profitable, and so forth. Satan's wisdom is deceptive and leads to bankruptcy of soul. Satan's opinion is in reality, no guidance at all.

How do we subscribe to Satan's opinion? None of us has ever seen him, nor even talked to him. And if you think you are having conversations with the devil, then you have another problem, for which you need to seek professional help.

We grow up in life listening to our parents and family members. Who does a four year old imitate? Her parents or siblings, of course. Then it is off to the TV, to school, to coaches, to radio, to more TV, to publications, and so forth. We form our opinions from our environment. We are assuming here that God is excluded from this thought formation process.

Who among us can go beyond this world and seek out and gain insight from outside of this world? None of us can. There is no other source of information (other than God) outside of this world. Satan introduced his thoughts to the world and man in his mental capacities has formed new opinions using Satan's foundation of wisdom. Satan is the father of the lie and deceit.

Where there is no guidance ... the source of the worlds guidance is no guidance at all ... then there is failure. Should be pretty clear, eh? If you make this a world wide scale situation, then there is world wide disaster. The magnitude of the disaster is directly proportional to the magnitude of the negative attitude toward God.

Now turn that around and add Gods wisdom into the picture. To those who learn Bible doctrine, there is true understanding and wisdom, added to their souls. This produces prosperity. The magnitude of the prosperity is more than proportional to the spiritual growth in a persons life, and thus it is with the world.

Look at those nations who have great prosperity (USA). Their foundation is in Christianity. Look at the poor countries of the world. Their foundation is not in Christianity but in something else. Now our population in this country (USA) does not consist 100% of spiritually mature people. I remember reading that less than half go to church on a regular basis (one day per week). We know that of those less than half go to church twice a week. Now lets see. If our population is 280 million plus, and less than ¼ th go to church twice per week, that leaves us with 70 million. I would venture to guess that less than 10% study everyday, 7 million, and a far smaller proportion of those are dedicated to their spiritual growth.

The point here is that Gods blessings come to earth through mature believers, and if we have a small number of mature believers in this country and still have the great prosperity that we have (the greatest in the world, in our current day), then just imagine the prosperity that we could have if all of our population were made up of mature believers!!! There wouldn't be enough room to hold all of the wealth.

But of course that is not the case in our current day. When Jesus Christ returns at the Second Advent, then the earths population will begin the Millennium with only mature believers. The Millennium (1000 years) will have prosperity that is absolutely phenomenal and beyond description.

When people embrace bad guidance there is suffering and loss. When the number of wise people that exists increases (those who possess Gods word in their souls), then prosperity increases exponentially.

Many opinions do not produce wise decisions unless the wisdom is based on Bible doctrine. Hummm! Now just what can we glean from all of this?

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
