You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Proverbs 14:10

10 The heart [leb] knoweth [yada] his own [nephesh] bitterness [morrah]; and a stranger [zuwr] doth not intermeddle [arab] with his joy [simchah]. KJV-Interlinear

10 The heart knows its own bitterness, And a stranger does not share its joy. NASB

The heart is often used to illustrate the inner function of the soul. The heart in the physical body, is a pump. It is the pump which causes and perpetuates the circulation of the blood throughout the body. The blood goes to every corner of the body bring with it all of the nourishment and protection that the normal body requires in order to function properly.

Likewise in the soul there is a circulation function. The heart is the perfect illustration of this function. Though this function in the soul it is a mental function, when you utilize the knowledge you have which is resident in the soul, then you are in effect circulating doctrine (or whatever else you have in your soul) throughout your soul as you make use of it and apply it to your everyday life.

Only two individuals know the content of your soul - God and you. No friend or family member, no counselor or advisor, certainly no stranger can know the content or the inner most secrets and thoughts of your soul. Unless you reveal them of course. And even then anyone you talk with cannot know if you are telling the truth or spinning a tale of sorts just to get attention.

Every human being is created as an individual separate and apart from all other individuals. Gods intent for each one of us, is that we function separately and independently and autonomously from one another - and from this world..

If you draw your inner resources from this world, then you draw from weakness and you become dependent on that weakness. That is exactly where the world and I might add, others who would take advantage of you, would like for you to be - dependent on them.

God on the other hand, gives you Bible doctrine so that you can be set free from all dependence on the world and life in general.

Now for our verse. You have to learn to live your own life. You have to grow up yourself. No one can grow up for you. God know the needs of your heart naturally and God gives you the perfect remedy for the ailing soul. But only you can learn doctrine, utilize it, and thus lift yourself up and out of whatever sorrow you have.

Only your own soul can know the inadequacies which are in yourself. Many times people who have sorrows (and we all do at some time in our life) suffer from them, and they lack any kind of resource with which to deal with the sorrows. This lack only gives rise to a greater or inflated sorrow.

Sometimes this drives people into deep depression and far worse difficulties, or far worse decisions because they cannot deal with their feelings.

Bible doctrine in the soul, and note that I said 'in the soul' is the only answer to the ailments of this life.

If you turn to drugs, medications, alcohol, any type of distraction (including social life or hobbies) with which you are trying to escape from your sorrows, then you will lose and you'll only make matters worse for yourself.

A problems not addressed or problems to which you apply the wrong solutions will never get better, nor will they ever get solved.

The only answer for all of life's problems is Bible doctrine in the soul. By this, God takes care of everything.

Consequently when Gods solutions actually bring resolution to your problems, then you alone will know the joy that you feel from deep within yourself. Again, no one can know nor share this feeling or sense of freedom or security or sense of fulfillment and happiness which you will possess.

Spiritual maturity is the only complete answer to everything in your life. That is one of the reasons that your spiritual life is the single most important aspect of your life.

Ok, Ok, only one more thing - Star Wars III began today and all the theaters were sold out - Bummer. Now you know one of my inner most thoughts. But I have tickets for tomorrow - the Force is with us! Cool!

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
