You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Proverbs 14:11

11 The house [bayith] of the wicked [rasha] shall be overthrown [shamad]: but the tabernacle [ohel] of the upright [yashar] shall flourish [parach]. KJV-Interlinear

11 The house of the wicked will be destroyed, But the tent of the upright will flourish. NASB

There is a difference between a house and a tent. In this verse, the house is something which is built on a foundation, fixed, attached to the earth. The earth is the world and the house is the pattern of life which a negative person chooses and establishes their life within.

The tent is a temporary dwelling. It is not attached to the world and can be moved easily when the need arises for a move. In the spiritual sense, the tent is the soul of the mature believer or the positive believer who is advancing to spiritual maturity. Our soul has a temporary dwelling in this world, but not a permanent one. We live within the world, but are not a part, of it.

We fill up our most valuable possessions within our tent and when the call comes from God to leave this world, then we take all our possessions (Bible doctrine) with us to our permanent dwelling which will be in a resurrection body, in heaven.

Negative people try to find their permanent life in this world. Regardless of the overwhelming proofs that point to our temporary residence here. The most obvious proof is death. No person who has been born into this world in centuries past is still here. All those past generations are dead and gone. We pass cemeteries all of the time when we travel down our roads and highways. Proof that this life is temporary.

We can look up at the sky and see the universe at night, and know the smallness of our existence. We are bound to this planet. Gravity has a tremendous hold on us. Even imagined space travel to the nearest of stars would require journeys that would last dozens of generations unless we could travel at light speeds. That technology does not presently exist except in the movies.

And if it (light speed) ever does come to be a reality in this century or the next, then this planet will be so overpopulated (over 50 billion people by the year 2100 and nearly a trillion people by the year 2200), then I suspect the Rapture and the end of mans days will also be upon us. So enjoy the movies for what they are - imagination and entertainment.

Your priorities in life will determine what kind of home you are building for yourself. A house based on the resources of the temporal life - the sin nature and viewpoint that is counter to Gods, or a tent, which is a home that is not attached to nor dependent on this temporal life, but one which is based on Gods Word and spiritual growth to spiritual maturity.

Anyone who looks to the world will ultimately fail in life. The world has nothing to offer but pretense and false hope. Failure is certain.

Anyone who looks to Bible doctrine, will succeed in their life. That is a guarantee from God. Guarantees do not get any better than that.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
