Psalm 33:5

5 He loveth ['ahab] righteousness [tsadaqah] and judgment [mishpat]: the earth ['erets] is full [male'] of the goodness [checed] of the LORD [Yahovah].  KJV-Interlinear

5 He loves righteousness and justice;   the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.  ESV

Righteousness is the standard of truth, and justice is the action of correction or cleansing away. And as this verse states, those principles are prevalent throughout the entire world, throughout history.

Everyone knows of right and wrong, of crime and virtue, of good and evil.

Adam and Eve knew it. You learned it from your parents or from your environment or from life’s experiences.

There are endless examples of good in this world. There are endless examples of bad in this world.

There are endless examples of reward and blessing and prosperity in this world.

There are endless examples of loss and disadvantage and poverty in this world.

And, there are endless examples of Gods perfect standard, of Gods fairness, and especially of Gods steadfast love.

In contrast the world offers nothing but prejudice, bias, unfairness, and endless blame and revenge.

When things go wrong, God is blamed. People never stop to think that a perfect God is incapable of imperfection.

And yet, no one seems to stop and consider other sources of imperfection or unfairness, things that they are a part of and even perpetuate through their criticisms.

And yet, the perfect God, who is Jesus Christ, is all things, holds all things, provides for all things, while people pursue the opposite, and then blame Him for their own thoughts, intents and actions.

It is far better to leave the imperfect world behind and to pursue something that is a known and established standard of perfection, rather than pursuing something that is a known standard of corruption.
