Zech. 14:9

9 And the LORD [Yahovah] shall be king [melek] over all the earth ['erets]: in that day [yowm] shall there be one ['echad] LORD [Yahovah], and his name [shem] one ['echad]. KJV-Interlinear

9 And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one. NASB

Often times in history, the battlefield determines the next ruler. Not always is the winner of a battle the best to rule. History is filled with tyrants and cutthroats, even politicians who have taken their power by force or by deception, and to the dismay of the general population.

When people rule, troubles begin for everyone.

There will be one time, however, in history, when the outcome of a battle will not only place the correct and legitimate ruler in power, but it will be accompanied with solutions for everyone s problems.

Jesus Christ, who is the creator of all life, who went to the Cross, to pay the price for humanities sins, and who will return to the earth to save mankind from his own self-annihilation, will at last take the reigns of power.

He will be universally recognized and accepted as the sole, and only person, with a legitimate claim to power, and He will rule forever, commencing with the conclusion of the Armageddon battle.

No only that, but He will be universally recognized as the one true God. All other idols, all other religions, all other beliefs will fade away and will never return. This may come as a shock to you, but with Satan lose in our world today, religions and false beliefs, have saturated human history, but with Satan locked up in prison for the one-thousand year reign of Christ, then no religions will come into existence.

On his own, mankind does not invent religions, but with the influences of Satan, humanity embellishes religions with limits only bound by the imagination. The common thread is Satan, who is the father of all lies.

During the Millennium, religion will not exist. However, near the end of the Millennium, there will be a large and growing population of folks who will tend to ignore Christ, and they will not believe in His deity, so when Satan is freed from prison, they will be easily influenced by Satan who will lead them in a massive, but very brief, rebellion against Christ.

This will prove finally and for all time, that even in a world of perfect environment, and perfect prosperity, and perfect peace, there is no destiny or future for humanity apart from faith in Christ. No one will lead any rebellion until Satan returns, so man is simply not the self motivated rebellious type. Man will learn war no more. That education in violence comes only from an outside influence, which is Satan.

Even Eve in the garden, had no interest in the forbidden tree, even though she was not listening to the teaching of Christ while in the Garden. You recall that she misquoted Christ, with regard to eating, nor even touching the tree. Nothing was ever said about touching it. But just because she did not pay attention, did not cause her to sin. Satan s interference combined with her indifference contributed to that.

The same type of thing will occur in the latter stages of the Millennium. People will become indifferent, presuming that life in the Millennium has always been that way. They will even lack historical perspective as people of our current day lack perspective. What world war? What depression? What satellite television shows did Great grandma and Great grandpa watch? Did they have DVD s in their wagon? How could anyone live without an MP3, a microwave oven, a clothes washing machine, a cell phone, fast food restaurants, a car to get around in, a television, the internet?

And we are only a few short decades away from many of these inventions and conveniences. The people from the second generation forward in the Millennium, will have virtually no access to history apart from what the first generation teaches them. And the third generation, and the fourth generation, and the fifth generation, will learn less and less and less.

They will not have the lessons of history repeating themselves, as wars and the various disasters of history will not occur.

But all generations in the Millennium will have perfect environment, no freezing winters, no scorching summers, no unemployment. They will have Christ right here in person, on this earth. They will not have much contact or experience with death as life fonts will be extended. They will have round the clock sunlight.

They will have the opportunity to read and study history and learn academically from it. But then, how many of you do that? People, in the Millennium, will be no different than they are today, they will just have a perfect life style to distract them, more so than we have today.

No politics, no struggles for power, no alternate philosophies or religions challenging truth, will exist. They will have the best history ever, the best opportunities ever, the best life on this planet ever. And that is the picture being established here.

Even with all of the best of the best, people will still fail in their spiritual life.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
