Zeph. 3:18-19

Lesson # Zeph. 3:18-19
Study Material - Zeph. 3:18-19

You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Zeph. 3:18-19

18 I will gather [acaph] them that are sorrowful [yagah] for the solemn assembly [mow`ed] , who are of thee, to whom the reproach [cherpah] of it was a burden [mas'eth] .
19 Behold, at that time [eth] I will undo [asah] all that afflict [anah] thee: and I will save [yasha] her that halteth [tsala] , and gather [qabats] her that was driven out [nadach] ; and I will get [suwm] them praise [tahillah] and fame [shem] in every land [erets] where they have been put to shame [bosheth] . KJV-Interlinear

18 'I will gather those who grieve about the appointed feasts — They came from you, O Zion; The reproach of exile is a burden on them. 19 'Behold, I am going to deal at that time With all your oppressors, I will save the lame And gather the outcast, And I will turn their shame into praise and renown In all the earth. NASB

The cities are ruined, and the palaces are demolished, all economies and trade is at an end, and the administration of public justice is non-existent. Those who are negative are at war with each other. The world is in total turmoil. This is the state of the world at the very end of the Tribulation. It has been deteriorating rapidly ever since the Rapture occurred seven years earlier.

The world did not deteriorate because of the Rapture, it went down hill because God removed His restraining ministry from the world. Jesus Christ controls history. Jesus Christ holds all things together despite mans attempt or deluded idea that it is man who holds things together in life. When Christ withdraws His support, then mankind is overwhelmed and the world falls head first into an endless nose dive into oblivion.

At the end, it is He who gathers together all believers. Just as Christ will one day descend into the clouds and with a shout, will call all of us believers in this Church Age at the Rapture. It is not we who go looking for Him. It is not we who know the time of the Rapture. Although God is organized, and He follows His plan to the letter.

The feasts were established throughout the year to teach sin, salvation, fellowship, and spiritual growth. God followed the feast schedule when Christ came to the Cross on Passover. The Holy Spirit was released to the people of the Church Age at the beginning of our current Age, on the first Pentecost Feast following the Passover Feast, one would think that the Rapture would coincide with the Feast of the Trumpets on the first of October, since that represents the re-gathering of those who belong to God. Even if this is the case, we do not know the year it will occur, nor the time (the hour). We can speculate all we want, but it will do no good.

Those who are to survive at the end of the Tribulation will be hiding in caves, in cellars, hiding wherever they can. There will be no public Bible Studies, no internet studies, no churches to attend, no weekly prayer meetings, nothing with which people can publicly assemble together in the study of the Word of God.

This is what they will grieve. This also teaches us the state of mind of those who will be rescued. We know their economic state. They are all broke. We know their social state. They are all being hunted like criminals. We know their life style. They are hiding like rats, living from day to day in total fear of being caught or discovered. Their food most likely is not the best. They can't light camp fires for fear of being discovered. They haven't had a good hot meal or bath since forever. Things are not rosy needless to say. But ...

These folks have doctrine on their minds. They miss the celebrations of the feasts. What does that mean?

Remember that these folks entered into the Tribulation because they did not believe in Christ prior to the Rapture. They were left behind. They found Christ during the Tribulation and under the most difficult of conditions. One would guess that none of them ever set foot in a church ever. So how can they miss something that they have never experienced. Also, the sacrifices haven't been held for over 1900 years, thus far anyway, so they can't be missing that.

These folks miss out on the opportunity of studying Gods Word and having a relationship with Him under conditions of freedom and liberty. They long for the oppression to be lifted from their lives, but not to go out and party and have a job and have a social life, but to be able to live in doctrine under conditions of freedom and prosperity.

That is what all mature believers in history desire. Life is difficult for us all. Some of us have life more difficult than others, but we are all bound to this world and therefore we are all subject to its constraints. A positive believer desires doctrine first, and the blessings that accompany it second. Blessing always follows the creation of the capacity for it. You cannot live inside a home and enjoy it until you have first built the home and then furnished it.

Thus doctrine in the soul builds a structure for your living the spiritual life. As we are still within this world, we then look to the time when the constraints of the world no longer apply to us.

prayer wall
Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
