27 Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith.   ESV

Answer:
No. Mans works and faith are mutually exclusive, meaning that they cannot both exist. You either live by one or the other. And faith is of course the better of the two.
