You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Psalm 20:8

8 They are brought down [kara`] and fallen: [naphal] but we are risen, [quwm] and stand upright. [`uwd] KJV-Interlinear

8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stood upright. NASB

Brought down, 'kara,' means to bow down, to prostrate, to be subdued, to be defeated.

Risen and stand upright is a reference to the opposite of the defeated. It is the victor, the saved, and delivered, the one who is the last standing on the battle field and therefore the winner or the victor. There is no one left to fight. The battle is over. The victor claims the field and the day.

Now, all of scripture is a mirror into which you see yourself. You are either in compliance with Gods will or you are not. Most folks believe that they are doing Gods will, when in fact they couldn't be more wrong about themselves.

And, unfortunately most folks will look into their mirror and never see their real self. They see only what they want to see.

However, the Bible teaches us to examine ourselves with objectivity, in order to determine if we are on the right track or not. And the Bible gives us very clear criteria in order to know if we are on the right track or not.

So, do you know the criteria as spelled out by the Bible, or do you just go on what you think is right without verifying your beliefs.

This verse is very clear.

All who are out of sync with Gods will, will be defeated, will fall in their life, will lose out in the greater rewards of life.

All who are in sync with Gods will, will be the victors, the winners, the recipients of phenomenal rewards.

So, wouldn't it be nice to know for certain that you are in compliance, and verifying that you are in compliance, rather than simply believing and hoping that you are?

If you have the jackpot ticket, do you just hope that you are the winner, or do you check the numbers to make sure?

If you tell the kids to clean up their room, do you hope that they will, or do you go and inspect to make sure?

If you are driving somewhere, do you hope that you have enough gas, or do you look at the gas gauge to see how much fuel that you have? Heaven forbid that you are flying in a plane and do not check your fuel before you take off.

Isn't your spiritual life just as important to make sure that you are doing all that you are expected to do, and not off track on some wild goose chase?

And so, just what is it that do know, or more important, what is it that you do not know? And if you do not know, then how can you learn and be sure? Or, will you even make the effort to check?
