You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Psalm 30:4

4 Sing [zamar] unto the LORD [Yahovah], O ye saints [chaciyd] of his, and give thanks [yadah] at the remembrance [zeker] of his holiness [qodesh].  KJV-Interlinear

4 Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones, And give thanks to His holy name.  NASB

To sing, ‘zamar,’ is not merely humming a tune to pass the time. This is music of the soul that wells up from deep inside, from the very core of your essence, from depths that lack words to express the appreciation of all that God has done, and the more that God is still yet to do for you.

The saints are those who belong to God, to those who have believed in God and have not rejected Him, to those who have advanced to spiritual maturity and beyond.

Thanks, is the essence of the appreciation that comes as a result of knowledge. Knowledge is that which is remembered, but you cannot remember something that you have not known, never learned, never understood.

Remembrance is a process that is linear, continuing on and on from day to day, from moment to moment throughout your entire life.

This is a process that you can only understand and comprehend after you have seen your past, seen your present and perhaps haven’t a clue as to what lies ahead in your future, but combined with knowledge of God through doctrine, you know that whatever it is, it is right and good, and Gods will.

Your life may sail in calm seas or roller-coaster wildly with unknowns constantly, but there is always one constant, and that is God. And you have access to God, through doctrine, but only if you are smart enough to know that you have to learn it.

Most people are not smart, and they will never know the depths of the appreciation that the mature believer will know.

If you never learn, and never experience life, then you cannot understand the vastness of Gods wisdom, nor have any basis for understanding all, that he has done for you.

Most people are born and live and die, believing that there is nothing more than that, except perhaps wealth, power, or pleasure, or suffering, while they scoff at almost anything else. That is, until they die.

Smart decisions open up opportunities. Dumb decisions close doors to opportunities.

Remembrance begins and enhances the process of connecting the dots of life, and thereby leads to an appreciation that no one else is capable of, which is one of the greatest experiences that is limited to and available to only the few who advance to spiritual maturity.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
