Lesson # Matt. 7:12
Study Material - Matt. 7:12
You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
12 'Therefore, however you want people to treat you, so treat them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Love thy neighbor as thyself. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Judge not lest ye be judged.
Treat other people as you would like to be treated. Place other people on the same level as you place yourself. Placing yourself neither higher nor lower than they. Deal with people in the same manner in which you would like to be dealt. Neither hide nor falsify information toward them, but deal in a plain and open manner. Look at their perspective and place yourself in their position. Such that our interactions will be open and honest and fair.
This is the Law. Orientation to God through doctrine (Love thy God with all thy heart and all thy soul and all thy mind). Orientation to self through doctrine's revelation (judge thyself). Orientation to people through doctrine's application (do unto others as you would have them do unto you).
This is the summary of Bible doctrine and the spiritual life. Everything else radiates out of this principle. God first. Understand self, second. Treat others properly, third.
Learn it. Understand it. Apply it. And all of this from within the sphere of fellowship with God. If we make righteousness our rule and therefore are ruled by it, then our life as well as the lives of others around us will be far better off. Dreams of world peace have nothing to do with disarmament as the bumper stickers try to imply. Dreams of peace 'Gods peace', which is the only true peace, is obtained through Bible study. World peace is a myth, a panacea, unobtainable by means of the energy of mankind. Man is bound in the slavery of the sin nature. Our only release from this slavery, is through fellowship with God, and that by means of our confession practice direct with God, and that is made available by means of salvation through Jesus Christ.
If you cheat others, how do you expect to be received? God simply ignores you, Isa. 1:15, and then the jungle deals with you. God is the glue which holds this universe together. By rejecting that glue you have accepted no means of bonding in anything, therefore chaos, and disorder, and destruction result. Why would you expect anything more from your life?
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
