To rest in the Lord, ‘damam,’ means to be dumb as in, to be astonished, to stop what you are doing to the contrary, to forbear, to hold peace, to quiet self, to rest, to be silent, to keep (put to) silence, be (stand) still, tarry, wait. And in so doing, you halt all carnal activities and focus on the spiritual functions of life. You live within the Lords plan and sphere as taught by the Bible.
This is the personal name for Christ.
